What is an OSD Tank?

An OSD Tank (also known as On-site Detention Tank) controls the flow of water into the local stormwater drains so if there is an influx of water, it will hold in the OSD tank and release it slowly to not cause flooding in the area.

OSD Tanks are compulsory on many new developments. They are pre-fabricated concrete tanks with traffic-able roofs that can be installed individually or grouped together in configurations of 2, 4, 6, 8 or above to provide a vast storm water storage system. All tanks are installed in record time without the need for any curing time on-site, allowing immediate vehicle traffic.
